Reusable release paper for storing planner stickers and PET tape samples

How to Store Stickers, PET Tape and Planner Ephemera

Planner supplies are easiest to use when you can see them. If stickers, PET tape samples and small paper pieces are scattered across drawers and envelopes, it is easy to forget what you own and harder to enjoy making a page.

Sort by how you reach for it

Start with three simple groups: pieces you use every week, themed supplies you use occasionally and items you are saving for a special project. This is more useful than sorting everything by color alone, because it keeps your daily supplies within easy reach.

Use release paper for reusable sticker and tape pieces

Release paper gives you a temporary home for stickers and cut PET tape pieces. It is especially useful when you want to save a partial strip, test an arrangement or collect matching details for a future spread.

Keep one small release-paper booklet in your planner pouch and one larger set at your desk. The small one becomes a working palette; the larger one becomes your long-term library.

Create a small kit for each planner format

A compact planner does not need a full craft room behind it. Build a small kit with a few paper clips, a label strip, one favorite tape and a handful of sticker pieces that suit your current week. Store the rest by theme or season, then rotate supplies when you want a fresh look.

Give paper ephemera a flat home

Tickets, labels, postcards and small scraps can bend or disappear in a loose pile. A flat pocket or divided pouch keeps them visible and protects the pieces you plan to use later. Grouping them by size makes it faster to find a piece that fits your page.

A simple reset routine

  1. After a journaling session, return unused pieces to their release paper or pocket.
  2. Move supplies you did not use for a month out of your daily kit.
  3. Keep only a small selection on your desk, so choosing does not become overwhelming.

The goal is not to make every supply look perfectly arranged. It is to make the next journal page easier to begin.
